The fully taped seams on this poncho really make a difference in a downpour — not a drop got through. It's surprisingly lightweight too, easy to pack.

The three-panel hood with the brim actually stays put in wind, which I didn't expect from something this light. It's been living in my pack for months now and the taped seams haven't leaked once. Packs down smaller than my water bottle too.

Wore this through a two-hour downpour on a hike and stayed completely dry, even my backpack stayed covered since it's roomy enough to go over it. The taped seams really do their job, no leaks anywhere along the shoulders.
