The waterproof fabric layer fits perfectly under the tent floor and vestibule area, and I no longer worry about sharp rocks or damp ground. Really glad I added this before a rainy trip.

Pitched this on a soggy site in the Olympics and the waterproof layer kept my tub floor bone dry through two nights of drizzle. It covers the vestibule too, so my boots had a dry spot to sit. Took an extra minute to line up the corners, no big deal.
