The long handle on the spoon actually reaches the bottom of a freeze-dried pouch, which sounds trivial until you've been scraping with a stubby utensil for years. Both pieces weigh next to nothing clipped to my pack, and they've held up fine stirring hot meals.

These have become a permanent staple in my camp kitchen. Being able to scrape out the last bite of a freeze-dried pouch without getting your fingers messy is a small luxury, and they stir up a hot meal just as well.

The long handles are a lifesaver for reaching the bottom of those dehydrated meal pouches without coating my knuckles in chili. The spoon and spork feel solid enough for stirring up a hot dinner, and I like that they came as a set for the price.
