Deep sidewalls mean I can actually eat soup or oatmeal without it sloshing everywhere when I'm sitting on a rock. The grip feels natural even with my mittens on, which is more than I can say for most camp bowls. This is the first bowl I've owned that doesn't make me wish for a table.

The molded thumb grip is a game-changer when I'm wearing my bulky winter gloves and trying not to spill coffee on the trail. The deep sidewalls also mean I can actually mix my oatmeal without it sloshing over the edge. This bowl finally makes eating outdoors feel as easy as at home.

I usually eat straight from the pouch to save weight, but these deep sidewalls actually keep the chili from sloshing over when I'm perched on a rock. The grip feels natural even through my liner gloves, so I haven't had a near-drop yet.
